He won't be in it which is a shame... It doesn't surprise me tbh, I like him in the movies but he seems like the kinda guy who could be a bit problematic on set

He was charged with harassment without violence and can't contact Noel Clarke in any way. So of course, they couldn't work on this movie together.
He's also on trial for a case involving threatening people with a machete. He has some bipolar disorder and couldn't make it to court because he was hospitalized for his mental health.
And he's on drugs so like somebody said, this isn't the type of guy you want on set.
Yep I found out about Deacon's mental health issues after I made the initial post back in February.
I'm still waiting for "Anuvahood 2" - amazing that such a rubbish film could cause such a fall out between the 2 men.
Pretty simple why it caused the fall out. Anuvahood's title clearly alludes to KiDULTHOOD and AdULTHOOD like it is a sequel. Coattail riding of the highest order.
shareYep but it was a piss-take send-up movie. Noel Clarke needs to lighten up a bit! Look at Scary Movie etc it's not uncommon for spoofs to be made.
shareYeah, but can you name a spoof that was directed by and starred someone from the thing they were spoofing? Scary Movie isn't a similar name to any of the films it spoofs, so folk did think Anuvahood was part of the series. Deacon would have known that folk would think that, but the confusion helped his movie. Can't really blame Noel for being pissed off, it was pretty blatant.
shareI would have thought "Scary Movie" and "Scream" were quite similar, and "what's your favourite scary movie?" is a line repeated in all the Scream films. But I take your point.
shareI expected the shadowy figure that everyone was talking about would turn out to be Jay. I'm glad it wasn't.
