Over the top

Cartoony villains.

Over the to revenge plot.

Under bosses with silly names and gimmicks

This movie is basically James Bond of the hood. Of course this bond is balding, flabby, and middle aged.

I don't know what you are talking about lol. It was no more over the top than the other 2.
I thought it was a decent film, personally.

reply

I agree, seems very unrealistic and corny.

reply

The moment where Sam's mum gets tossed off the roofis to the moment where I turned to my brother who I was watching the film with and said -"There was a point at which people might have possibly said the 'Hood films were in some way realistic but its just jumped the shark on that one"

reply

Explain how it "jumped the shark"

reply

It was good in parts. But not really convincing, on the whole. Pity that Adam Deacon was absent too.

reply

It went in to pure melodrama.

reply

And I did think it was a decent film too

reply

That's cool but too many people misuse the term "jumped the shark" lol.
I don't mean to be rude but by saying that you are suggesting that the writer ran out of ideas.....Is that really what you meant?

reply

No tbf its not..but to me jumped the shark also means a break from credibility.

reply

Fair enough lol.

reply

I liked it, even if Trevors uncle was too old to be mixing it with the younger gangsters.
Sam's mum didn't deserve what happened to her either.

reply

The bit were stormzy gets a counselling session from his potential hammer victim was the final straw for me..

reply

It's called humour....Can't believe you took that scene seriously.

reply

It got a bit preachy man

reply

It was clearly a comical scene....Not supposed to be preachy.
