"I've got a great idea, lets make a film about canoeing over Niagara Falls"
"Are you crazy Rafa!"
"No listen we sell the rights, make the film, and then celebrate counting the dollars"
"I don't mean that Rafa, going over the falls you will kill yourself"
"Don't be stupid I've got no intention of going over but punters won't know that until the end"
"Hmm so what's the film about then"
"Well we just blag it, throw in a near death experience easily done, and end by saying making the film has been a life changing experience."
"Ok Rafa we are in lets do it"

Raffa had every intention of going over, the lads involved in making this film are at the top of their game! If anyone was ever going over these falls it would have been one of these boys. As for making cash, there's virtually no cash involved in Kayaking, Pro kayaking is virtually none existent, they get free gear and travel. These blokes spend their lives travelling round the world doing this kind of stuff on a daily basis, living on mates couches sleeping roadside and in the wilderness, paddling is their passion, this film is a snippet of a lifestyle. If they can make a flick and earn some cash to support it, good on em! You can be damn sure you wont see any of these lads buying yachts to sail around Caribbean. Added to all this, boaters are the most down to earth friendly, happy people you'll ever come across, The more kayaking films the better!
The bit most people may not be aware of is these boys would be paddling these rivers and waterfalls even if there were no cameras, its their way of life, just like surfing is to a surfer, they're getting high on flow!
