Over and Over Redundancy

If the Averys were an intelligent and articulate family it might be interesting to hear them talk to each other and to listen to their thoughts and insights. But they're not and they don't offer any insights worth listening to. The camera spends way too much trying to elicit interesting material from the family. This story could easily be told in 3 or 4 episodes total.
