Well... that sux...
I was a lurker for a long time, but I still enjoyed reading through the discussions here. And yeah, I enjoyed posts from all the "camps" - no matter what you think the truth is or even if you do not really care. I enjoyed the arguments, clever ideas, dumb ideas, all the various speculations. Even the little flame wars and trolls from time to time. I even blocked, and the unblocked some people when I realized that in order to get the full picture, you cannot create an echo chamber.
I honestly think, that you are all nice people, sometimes you might not agree with each other or have different views and your mind calculates things differently, but in the end, I think you all want the world to be fair. Which is not in the end. Nor in the beginning. And cannot ever be completely. Trying your best to make it fair, is both a blessing and a curse (while trying to make it more fair, you might achieve the exact opposite) - but the effort to make it more fair is the core part of humanity.
Shame that thoughts and discussion will be drawn out from this place. So many possibilities to express yourselves or just lurk how others view and discuss things. To observe and learn. Reasoning, walls of texts, acting childish or even hateful outbursts are part of the Internet and ourselves. Some can keep anger and misery inside, other people cannot. But it is just a symptom, not a cause.
A discussion, no matter how toxic it might become, is always better than forced silence. You cannot learn from silence. You cannot react to it.
To cut this pseudointellectual monologue, written poorly by a non-native speaker, short - a shame that the virtual world gets more silent. I will miss this place - and you, although I do not know you and you do not know me.
Take care folks!
