It's pretty good. Not great, but pretty good. It has it's problems, but I enjoyed it.
If Netflix makes another, I'll watch it for sure.
It was fun to watch, having never read the books or played the game.
My major complaint is just character and story tracking. Those would be important in another genre. In sword and sorcery plot is secondary to sword and sorcery. Just like how in Science Fiction, the science is what leads, not some ridiculous plot about how there's a virus that makes people into zombies.
Character development is for Notting Hill. Henry Cavill F'ing people up is for Fantasy.

I really like it, I've watched 4 episodes now and it has gotten better with each episode. I'm not familiar with the source material but I'm enjoying the show so much that I'm thinking of buying Witcher 3 for my PS4.

I recommend Star Wars, if you hate character development so much.

I guess I'm here to complain too because I wanted to like it, but it was a letdown. It wasn't terrible, and I will watch a season 2, but with low expectations. (I don't know the books or games.)
