The Final Performance

I didn't like the final performance in Center Stage, and I liked this even less. The music was horrendous. The part where they tore the skirts off the dancers was ridiculous. This was a bad fusion of ballet & "modern." Granted, I love classical ballet, but there are some modern ballets that I like--much of Twyla Tharp, for instance. But she still sticks to the rules--pointed feet, straight legs, etc.

The final dance in this movie was a disappointment, there just wasn't much to it.
The first movie was fantastic and I think any movie following it, will never live up to it, and will be disappointing

I thought Chloe Lukasiak, instead of being in the audience, should have been allowed to dance in the final performance. It would have been so much better to see a pro-shot dance sequence featuring Lukasiak, as she was a major draw for the film.
