The blond nurse, Barb

reply

Right. But what does Barb know about the man almost hit with the car?

reply

She was engaged to him

reply

She plays the nurse who we find out was engaged to the man who was killed by the car. I knew she was going to be the villainess when she first appeared wearing too much makeup for a nurse.

I applaud Lifetime for including the comic actress during commercial breaks who makes fun of the show. It really helped to hear her ridicule parts of the movie , so that it became more palatable. That way we realize Lifetime knows the plot is ridiculous but is doing it all in fun.

Why did Barb want to kill the couple? Wasn't she after both of them?

reply

I think at first she only wanted to get even with the man who killed her fiancé. Later when the girlfriend got in her way, she thought she needed to kill her too.
How Barb was able to get assigned to take care of the driver in the hospital strains credulity. If she worked in that hospital, at least some co-workers would have known she had a fiancé and that he was the one who got killed in the accident and that both he and the injured driver were brought in there.
Somebody would have known that Barb shouldn't be assigned to take care of that driver, out of sensitivity to her feelings and also conflict of interest.

reply

Hospitals are often big places with long shifts, people can't always tie the personal connections together any better the characters in this show could. It's a big leap to estimate Barb would commit a crime or hurt someone based on what happened.

I find her annoying. And I can't understand why a network would hire someone to trash films that they choose to air on their own network. Makes no sense and it is a good way to lose viewers. If the network doesn't appreciate their own programming, why should we?
