Why this show is totaly screwed up (spoiler)

1. It takes way to long time to understand what it's all about, actually most of the season. It picks up in episode 5 and 6, a little.
2. Willa is totally wrong, she (the actor/the script?) isn't in love with him, and certainly not him with her. Charlie, on the other hand, that would have made me starting to like it.
3. Other than that, well to be honest I used the fast forward too much I guess, I love sci-fi/mystery/adventure, you name it, I didn't love this, but I watched all episodes, just to try to understand it.

A season 2 might be better, because I actually understand more of it now, but to need a whole season to get a grasp is way too much (maybe I'm just too stupid). And if you do a new season, please let Charlie be the one he falls in love with, I really felt a spark between the two of them.

If she made over 1 billion on online stock trade, why didn't she use a few million to hire a kill team to take the organisation down?

I can't fault them too much for taking the entire season to get to the point. First, it was a short season. If it was longer, I might have had a bit of a problem with it. Secondly, the way it was released has an impact, at least for me personally. Making it immediately available means you didn't have to wait 10 weeks for them to get to the point.

Secondly, I can see how this would be a benefit to the show runners. There is very little they have locked themselves into. They can look at audience responses from the first season to make better determinations on how to steer the second season.

A lot of people seem to prefer Charlie over Willa.

I hope the writers take that into account for season 2. And since a season 2 was just ordered, as far as I can understand, they might actually have a chance to do it. You hear that mr. Writer?! :)

yeah, a friend of mine does too, i really like both & i think both do love him but don't know how to choose 1 of the other, i mean sure Charlie is more uppity and playful etc and Willa is a bit more damaged but they are just diff kinds of ppl but i think ppl like that more uppity bit & thinks that makes for a better person so they choose her over Willa

The main issue I had with the show is how the bad guys thought the best way to get Holdens help was to attack him and kill his best friend. People are usually a lot more receptive to help you out when you're kind to them vs cruel.

It's at least partially screwed up, but their escape from Hollow Sky in episode 10 was totally screwed up.
