Is Season Three worth Looking at?

I watched the first two seasons and was either bored or had an epileptic fit due to all the noisy space battles.

Is three any better?

It’s good from episode 3 onwards but episode 8 is utter crap.

it's great

They should've just gone from season 1 to season 3, imo. Taking the show out of prequel territory and into the far future was a great move! I'm enjoying it so far, some episodes are better than others but there's an overriding purpose now that was lacking the first two seasons. Plus the future tech is cool - nanite "programmable matter", wraparound floating displays, personal transporter badges, etc.

Season 3 is hit and miss. The episodes with Book and Michael are good. There are a few Star Trek type episodes. And a lot that just make you shake your head wondering how these people ever got through Star Fleet Academy.

It's good if you like Sci-Fi. Not good if you like Star Trek.

NO.

Deckard B26354, I'm filed and monitored.

No, it's actually much worse than Season 1 or 2.

I really enjoyed Season 3. Season 2 was a hard slog for me, I found the red angel story arc tiresome and Spock a bit disappointing, but it really shifted gears this season. I think it was smart to set it in the future, brought a more exciting dynamic to it. My only gripe is that ** SPOILERS ** Saru has been bumped from the Captain role, I love his character and Doug Jones’ excellent performance. Still, two thumbs up and I’m looking forward to seeing where it goes from here.
