Awesome, looking forward to it.

Didnt see the Andorian but Tilly is hot all of a sudden, she should keep that hair style!

reply

It's hard to see the antennae and blue skin, but presumably the Andorian is the light haired person in the distance in that one shot (bathed in light). I'm curious if Saru is with them as they meet the rebels, but I'm also glad something is left to the imagination here. :'D

Cool, looking forward to it!

Thanks for the links Satan2016.

The young Vulcan seated near the Tellarite .. could that be Spock ?

Do we know when the Terran Empire began ? In the Mirror Universe could Spock 's mamma still be Human despite the Terrans hate Vulcans?

Alert ...Spoilers following

I hope Ash 's persona /his bond with Michael /their love will be strong enough to destroy Voq.

This Mirror Mirror universe seem to be different from the TOS one. There was no indication in TOS that the Empire was human only. Spock was still first officer. He threatens Sulu that his death would be avenged by his operatives and that some of them were Vulcan. Which implies that there are Vulcans in the Empire fleet which implies that Vulcan is part of the Empire and that Vulcans have positions of authority within it; which argues against a human only empire.

Exactly ,yet I'm sure I read that the producers said that this was the same MU as the one in TOS.

So do we know when the Terran Empire started? When did the Terrans start hating the Vulcans who were the ones that made first contact with Zefram Cochrane .

How did Sarek met with Amanda ?
Did they meet and marry before the Empire began or was the Empire already established and Amanda was a dissident (like those three that were executed and tele transported into space ) who joined the alien opposition where she then met Sarek?

In Enterprise (less than 100 yrs before Discovery), you have Vulcans and others as slaves of the Terrans. T'Pol gets radicalized by the logs on the Defiant and starts a revolt. In DS9 (over 100 years after Discovery), you have some humans, Trills, etc. who hold special roles among the Cardassian/Klingon/Bajoran Alliance (which overthrew the Terran Empire at some point) even though most of their kind are allied with the now scattered humans in rebellion. (Roles are reversed and it's an Alliance rather than a singular Empire, but in effect it's pretty much the same thing that was going on before, except with humans as slaves now.) It's never said specifically when the Terran Empire was established, but some say it's implied in ENT that there was already a Terran Empire in their world by the 20th or 21st century, somehow. I'm not a fan of the ENT mirror episodes, so I'm not eager to re-watch and see.

*edit*
I don't recall if it's said how Sarek met Amanda. On TNG, he was already with Perrin and that's the ep I remember best. Might be pertinent to go back and rewatch the TOS episode Sarek first appeared in. Or if you want, there are wiki pages for Sarek you could check.

I loved the episode, hopefully it gets even more weirder from here.

I'm very curious what Mirror Stamets meant about getting to work.
