Star Wars TLJ is as much a Star Wars movie as Star Trek Discovery is a Star Trek series in any way.
But that isnt so bad. Now that we know that the franchise holders destoryed their property we could read the SW EU novels. And Star Trek fans could watch Star Trek Continues (one of the best star Trek series ever done - beside that it had clear flaws). And Paramount and Disney .... could go to hell.

shareDoctor Who is not trashed by a female Doctor, but by a bunch of SJW writers/executives. It has been already trashed with Capaldi, and I heavily doubt the next Doctor will be any better since it's basically the same team.

Indeed, I thought it could be interesting to have a female Doctor any moment. But since the Doctor has a clearly eccentric male British character, it would be interesting how the writers could manage it. However, for such a thing you need writers with a deep understanding of human nature, both in men and women. Instead of it, the BBC is plagued with political crusaders, and the next Doctor Who will be a lecture (probability 99.99%) about how women are better than men. I even suspect that the Doctor became such a douchebag in the Capaldi era, on purpose, to create even a higher contrast with the female Doctor (that would be an interesting question for the D.Who board, by the way).
This could be correct. But me and my girlfriend stopped watching Doctor Who at the first season with Cappaldi. It became too dark and serious. Ive heard then on some YouTube channels that BBC used a few sexist remarks against men. So perhaps your point is correct. But I will most likely never find out, cause for me BBC already destroyed Doctor Who.

If you're upset about it that much, stop giving your money to Hollywood and watch it elsewhere. Franchise is millenialized so either get on board or be left behind. It's only going to get somewhat worse from here.
