Rotten Tomatoes score of 85% fresh, 15% rotten

Do you agree?
Is this better or worse than The Orville?

reply

That really surprises me. I am watching and I will keep watching but I would rate it a 5 or 6 out of 10 so far.

I know, the rotten tomatoes score seems way too high, viewers do not seem to like it much at all. RT doesn't seem all that reliable anymore as this isn't the first time their ratings seem way off the mark.

I gave it an 8 on imDb, and I imagine most people chose to watch the show so that they could enjoy a new Star Trek and not to fault-find or hate-watch, so I'm not surprised at all. If you look at reactions on social media, they're largely full of love for the series too.

I give the show a 2. I can't figure out what the critics find appealing about this show.

4/10, and then I'm being nice as I find the captain a good character/actor and the special effects are good. It's still a pain to watch with every Klingon appearance as nails on a chalkboard and the feminist agenda showed down our throats.

The Orville is just great and is like getting good old TNG back with modern GFX and more humour. Would recommend it to all fans of the real Star Trek!

How is the feminist agenda being shoved down our throats??? They have a main character who is female?? HOLY CRAP!!
