Anyone else get disturbed by how 'not poor' Katie looked?

I'm not sure if the situation showed in the movie for Dan and Katie is typical for struggling Brits. ... but what I'm surprised with is how good Katie looked and carried herself while in this hopeless situation. ... I shouldn't be comparing it to the third world poor people but relatively she had a lot of support all around her and didn't look the poor part at all. .. someone else mentioned her looking like a yummy mummy and thats quite true. ...
