Did they actually read the book? Or the play?
Why are they describing Benvolio as a bad boy? That makes no sense. In the play he is a peace maker, the one always trying to stop the fights, same as in the book. I mean, come on! The play has been around for 400 years. There is no excuse in turning Benvolio into the bad boy like that.
Still Star-Crossed is an excellent book and very true to the play. This looks like Shonda Rhimes trying to hard to appeal to teenagers and not being true to the characters.
