Humorless, bland, boring...fits in with franchise

What a waste of talent, time and money.
The only thing the filmmakers crave in this series is coolness, the kind of coolness a kid hopes to achieve just by wearing sunglasses.
Like the rest of the series, they fail miserably even on such a modest goal.

Other than being subjected to that, I was hoping the change of cast and director could have improved things in terms of story and, above all, create an INTERESTING HEIST MOVIE: yet again, a miserable failure.
The heist in "over the hedge" is a masterpiece of thieving action compared to this amateurishly written crap.

this is my biggest problem with this piece of crap, you get people like Cate Blanchett, Sandra Bullock, Helena Bonham Carter, Sarah Paulson and Anne Hathaway and you make a movie like this? it takes talent to fail so much I suppose.

It seems to me that, paradoxically, the more talent they get, the more spectacularly they fail: they know they are all good, so lean on each other and expect someone else to take charge and at the end nobody really delivers the goods.
Like, nobody actually read the "script" because, with so many great people involved, it must be awesome, no?
