Replacing Riggs is a big mistake. "Lethal Weapon" has always been about him and Murtaugh. You can't change the formula. I have a funny feeling it will not make it past the third season. It should have been axed.

Wasn't expecting that! Sean is great and there's no doubt he can pull off the role, but Clayne's firing is still strange.

Maybe now the real reason will come out. Damon's indirect tweets indicate perhaps a clash between the two.

I would have much rather a recast than a new character. It's no longer Lethal Weapon as it was Riggs who was the "Lethal Weapon."

Am I the only one who wants to see Scott added to the cast while Crawford remains, albeit while Riggs is being transparently phased out by the new Poochie character?

Lethal Weapon without Riggs? Yeah. Good luck with that. Cancelled halfway through S3 is my bet.

I would say at this point it’s a dead show walking. I am not going to criticize the hiring because Scott can be very good, but I find it unlikely you can lose the key lead, literally the lethal weapon himself, and expect to survive.
