No one can replace danny glover

What i liked about him in lethal weapon is that he was just a normal middle age father caring for his family, always on the edge of a panic attack/ anger management. He could have been white, black or chinese it didnt matter his character was universal and not attached to any race. Bottom line the fact danny glover was black was irrelevant.

Now a wayans from all blacks is going to play the murdough character. I just hope he doesnt go full ghetto mode.

wayans character doesn't seem to be acting obnoxious or anything in any of the trailers.

I'm not sure if you noticed Breakwood83 but Murtaugh's kitchen is full of little "End Apartheid" fridge magnets and the whole second movie was based around the (then) still active slave trade and segregation of peoples based on skin colour.

The fact you didn't noticed it is because Donner and Glover were so masterful in how it was delivered that it didn't age any scene, in fact it enhanced it by making it more relevant to the time it was set in.

I think the show is a little screwed in how to handle characters. If they drop Rigg's and Murtaugh's personalities, they're going to lose the essence of the show. But if they keep that up for 20 plus hours a season instead of one 2 hour movie, it's going to get old fast.
