Did I misunderstood the dialogue between Ivy and Alia in the first episode? They discuss fish and healthy eating during pregnancy; Ivy says she was given a book on the topic by White and that for a while she did eat fish. Wasn't that a euphemism for a pregnancy? Alia should have picked what Ivy was really saying and discuss it with the other policemen and the shrink.
That is one of the mysteries, if she was pregnant at some point, also sometimes she talks reffers about us or we( we have to win the right to a spoon).

Didn't the guy who kidnapped her say that their child/baby would have been 3 1/2 years old now? Suggesting that they did have a pregnancy at least, but that the baby was lost? He wanted them to try to be parents again now?
When she refers to the "us/we" thing she is talking about the boy kept with her that was found behind the wall. I believe it was either the captors son or brother? They did say but I forgot. They made it seem he was poorly treated much like Ivy, but had developmental delays so she took on a mothering role for him, and he ended up dying because she convinced him to let her escape and the captor killed him because of it. Guilting her further.
Riddle wrapped inside an enigma, wrapped inside a taco.
Did she convince him to let her escape? what I understood is that White left him in charge so he tried to help Ivy, she said something about him taking the role of the protector
