Could have been a lot better [finale spoilers]
The series as a whole wasn't terrible, but it feels a lot like a waste of potential. One thing is that, especially the last episode, it felt full of unbelievable plot points (like how easy it was to escape the police surveillance at the mall and then escape the police car chase just by ramming into one out of the 3 cars that had cornered them - then how the little girl came out of the shock just to draw a perfectly recognizable landmark and the police got to the place she was held just one second after it blew up). Then it felt a bit soap-opery, especially with the childhood boyfriend storyline, while the two detectives storyline also felt a bit forced. Then there's the whole Stockholm Syndrome underlying theme which is not fully explored (and could have been very interesting). It generally felt like the script could have used a good rewrite before shooting.
