The end mmm

Ivy's family failed her they should of fully empowered her as soon as she returned they all pussyfooted around her, it really annoyed me!
They all should of fessed up about the dad not living there, Tim being married and they should of gathered all the people Ivy was friends with and had some sort of welcome back dinner. The mum and sister should have taken her shopping for new clothes and at least taken her to the flipping hair dressers. Her dad could of taken her for driving lessons and maybe Tim could of given her a job at the pub. Maybe if they had of done all that she would not have been so vulnerable to be captured again geez.
I really didnt need to see those last scenes with the sicko really, that should of all been left up to the viewers imagination.
It was ok but a bit frustrating to watch all the actors were good but the theme music was crap.
Cheers!

I did find the theme music annoying and not fitting the series. Other than that I disagree with everything you wrote.

"Are you seeing this?"
"It's just a flying saucer, Ed. We gotta go."

The last thing in the world Ivy needed was a welcome home party. She'd spent 13 years being either alone, with White, or with White's brother. In the first episode she was overwhelmed by the presence of her family and police officers in the house, and her mother helicoptering around her out of guilt, and couldn't find a quiet place to be alone. That's why she took off to the courtyard to meet Tim.

They didn't take her shopping or anywhere else, because her captor was still at large. There was no possible reason to consider driving lessons until she was safe going out alone, and she certainly wasn't ready for a job, much less one in a crowded pub.
