Dancing with the Stars connection

What was up with this? I saw three people connected to DWTS in the documentary. Where they just there randomly, or were they doing some other promotional work for the show?

Oh, and does anyone else realize how huge Tony Robbins' hands are? In the one scene where he puts them on that guy's head, they look like ogre hands (in terms of size). Huge.
