I've been to TR seminar and find critical comments in this forum so typical

It's the first reaction for a critical thinking person, to call it brainwashing, call it a scam and "I can see how they manipulate". Because it looks kind of like that it doesn't mean you can judge without understanding and having experienced it.

I've been to the seminar and yes, it's music and pumping up the energy and church/cult like setting. But all that is to help you to get out of your routine, to get out of your program. To make change in your life.
You have to go with the flow and understand that it's helping you help yourself. There's no hidden agenda to get more money out of you.

The movie really shows it like it is. It's unlike anything you experienced in your life.
The movie is called "Not your guru" to specifically show that it's not brainwashing or anything like that.
Too bad so many people in this forum don't see the point of the movie and unable to get past the "organized event" visual without understanding it on deeper level.

Well put, we'll said!

Only question I have is why on Tony's Tape/CD programs like Get The Edge, Personal Power, etc. he is so clean-spoken and well-spoken, then in his seminars he's spewing out "Mother F'ers", "F this", "F that", like some wannabe rap-artist. I found it very disappointing to hear his nonstop gutter mouth at seminars when he is so clean-spoken on his tapes/cd's. What's with the split personality?

Well, it's a problem that the movie doesn't necessarily make a convincing case for him. It's all very nice that people who've gone to his seminars are converts, but this movie was meant to be seen by the general public. And you can't blame people if they came away from it with their skepticism intact. Sorry, but if you need to drop $5000+ on a seminar in order to swallow a documentary about that seminar, then either the seminar, or the documentary, or both aren't doing a very good job explaining their value.
