I didn't care for Mr. Francatelli

I really didn't. There was something menacing about him, especially in the earlier episodes. For the longest time, it didn't feel like he was trying to woo Miss Skerrit, it felt like he was trying to bed her. I was glad she didn't go with him, and my #1 wish for next season (assuming they keep the servants) is for Skerrit to get another love interest.

I agree.

I got a creepy rapist/sexual blackmailer vibe from him in the first few episodes -- having him be "nice" later on felt weird. Makes me wonder if the writing changed directions midseason or if he played it wrong at first?
