I love his scenes with Victoria.He's terribly attractive and compelling. No wonder Victoria is in love with him.Frankly, I don't like Albert's character (or it's the actor playing him I don't like, but perhaps he'll grow on me.

I love him on here too and playing such a wonderful character!!! Plus, did see on Twitter and Tumblr he told fans that visited him after his play back on the 31st that he will be filming for season 2 so Melbourne is coming back. We're just not sure how many episodes. It's probably going to be to write in his character's death in 1848 but I was actually hoping for this and to also have more closure for his character and M's relationship with Victoria.

I love Sewell, particularly his work in Middlemarch. He also did a good job playing Charles II in the Last King. It's a shame he is so terribly miscast here, but he does his usual capable job with awful material. Melbourne was 58 and rather corpulent when Victoria took the throne. She saw him only as a father figure; there was precious little, if any, of the preposterous sexual attraction this pathetic screenwriter introduces. As you said, I'll take Rufus wherever I can find him.

Put puppy mills out of business: never buy dogs from pet shops! 
