Child birth and Assassination Attempt scenes (spoilers)

I would give Jenna an award for that child birthing scene. Wow! She was excellent the way she was screaming, holding on to whomever would hold her, and perspire. I had to close my eyes in some places, it made me hurt just watching.

FWIW, Victoria and Albert have awesome chemistry together. I am really loving this show in large part because of these two.

As for the assassination scene, British law back then was pretty strange. Just because the dude's pistol wasn't loaded should not be a defense to keep a guy from any jail time, especially pointed at the Queen. They found him crazy I suppose was the compromise. Also, did you notice not one "secret service" was walking by the side of the carriage even after the attempted plot? Wouldn't you think she would have had at least one man on each side after that?
