shareI hope so too even if the plot is a bit on the cliche side. I love Brandy and I want this to be a hit for her especially since I think she got a crap job done to her on The Game.

I watched the first episode on the BET app. The show is not bad I must say. But some of the actors need to polish up their acting skills. Brandy acting is fine. What I liked about this show is that it brings back some of homage of Moesha. Remember on Moesha, there was a narration at the beginning of the show with Moe talking. Well this show has that. To me the show seems more like a grown up Moesha. So far I liked it!

It's ok, the actors/actress acting is pretty bad. Brandy acting is great, like the one post said it is like a grown up Moesha in a way.
shareI watched it and I agree. It's okay but the laugh track (or studio audience IDK which it is) is pretty annoying and yeah the acting is pretty bad in this. I think the best friend and the gay guy are the worse ones.

Both of them are bad, too bad Brandy couldn't get Countess Vaughn on the show....God rest his soul Lamont Bently.
Speaking of gays why do black shows today have to feature a gay character? To me it's not providing no extra humor and some of the gay characters I seen on other sitcoms or shows over act.
It seems to be a thing that a lot of shows do in general, I don't have nothing against gay characters but I don't see anything they add by making them gay.
