Excellent series

I saw the 16 episodes of this series, and enjoyed all of them. Each of them is related to a murder case. We follow Major Rodion Meglin and his new assistant Esenya Steklova as main investigators. Meglin is a myth in the police, having solved a lot of such criminal cases. But he is also a controversial figure, and his method, if there is one, includes doing his own justice, and not trusting too much the law. So we assist at the transformation of his trainee, respecting him, and changing to become his indispensable partner against terrible assassins.
