I LOVED Night Flier, but turned this off after 26 mins/too slow

I found the pacing of this really, Really, REALLY slow and gave up after 26 minutes so maybe it got better, but even the very s-l-o-w opening credits I found tedious--cars driving around?

And I loved NIGHT FLIER--great story adaption so I hope this director gets another chances SOON, but this was just too slow.

Yup, it was professionally made, but the writer/director ignored pacing, particularly in the first 50 minutes. The scenes are unnecessarily padded and, as you say, sloooooooooow. Things don't pick up and get slightly interesting until the last 40 minutes, but not enough to overcome this fatal flaw.
