I don't like how they made Oliver in this show.

I mean, he's way too creepy in this show. That was not his character at all in Mighty Med.
He had a crush on her but was never creepy about it. He seems less like Oliver and more like a mix of Adam from Lab Rats and Fletcher from ANT Farm.

You have to keep in mind two things:

1. When he was in MM, he only saw Skylar when she was on the hospital or work duties (eg. saving people, school, solving things like the Auctiron). So he couldn't sneak up on her like that since he was busy or it seem to weird. When they started living together, he probably had more plans and sees her 24/7.
2. The writers of MM aren't there, but instead LR, so perhaps they're having a hard time with the character.

Those are my theories.

I think the 2nd point is probably right. Because the only episodes were he seems like the same character is when Skylar got her powers back and the 2nd part of the hour long special. Those two episode were written by Andy Schwartz (one of the creators of Mighty Med)

I don't agree with the 1st point because in this show, they treat his creepy crush as if it has always been part of his character.

Having watched Lab Rats and not Mighty Med, I do not know how Oliver was. Unfortunately it has long been a staple of books, television, and radio that the stalkerish, creepy, originally unrequited crushes, gain the affection of those they had the crush on. Although I have on a rare occasion liked the pairing, it usually annoys me a lot. It just seems to send out a very dangerous message. I did not care one way or the other in the cross over, especially since Skylar did get jealous of Bree. The way he was depicted in this series, he should stay on the outside looking in. I actually thought it would serve him right if she and Chase, TEMPORARILY, became interested in each other. (I do like his character, mostly, but his arrogance and social ineptness would make it short lived)
