Pretty Standard Ghost Hunter-type Show

Postulates:
1. Extra-corporeal entities exist.
2. They are malevolent and cause problems.
3. They are willing to communicate with investigators.
4. Recorded static and muffled noises can be interpreted as meaningful English words.
5. It is more effective to yell and scold them and call them names ("jerkoff") than to be sympathetic or respectful. And it's OK, because they are "demonic".

Show has the usual ambient sound effects and jump scares.
Includes the cliche dialog: "What was that?" and "Did you hear that?"

This production is about five years late getting to the party.
Nothin' special here.

But this was just the first half.

Agreed. Just like every other ghost hunter show even though in the promos he said he wasn't a ghost hunter.

Part II (Witchcrap phase):

The teen daughter was bullied into saying that she had practiced Wicca (a legitimate faith recognized since 2007 by the U,S.Department of Veteran's Affairs and described in the US Army Chaplain's Handbook).

The secular head investigator then spouted some really ignorant misinformation about religious iconography. Several childish drawings were exhibited, showing an alligator-shaped biped with curled ram's horns, slanted eyes, and a reptilian plastron on its chest.

The secular head investigator then inappropriately (no credentials) conducted a mild exorcism forcing the teen to renounce the Devil (a figure in the Christian pantheon only) and all his works, since she had obviously given herself to him previously.

And presumably they all lived happily ever after.
