If I'm not mistaken Colin called the man that he offered the cassette tape to, her brother. I'm just wondering why there was no mention of her having a sibling when her father gave her a cheque for £212K or when her father died.
Would her brother not be her joint heir to her father's house proceeds? Surely then Colin would not be able to list the house without his brother-in-law's permission, not to mention the brother having the right to be an executor to his nephews' inheritance (the money in his sister's account that she clearly said Colin had no access to)?

Lesley did have a brother, and whilst he shared the proceeds of the fathers estate fifty fifty from the sale of assets, houses, property et cetera, Lesley did get the entire £212k on her own. This information is contained in the book that the series is based on
