Hazel

Did you feel sorry for her? I didn't, she played the victim but what she and Colin did was awful. She may say it was all Colin's doing but she played her part.I'm surprised that her husband and kids seemed to stick by her.

Nope. Hazel came across as an extremely cold, selfish woman. Her crocodile tears didn't move me - she didn't regret what she did, she was only sorry she got caught and that her perfect little life was at an end.

Her children and husband are so supportive because they love her and don't want to lose her. It's easier to come to terms with what happened to Trevor and Hazel's role in it by believing she too was a victim of Colin's, rather than accepting the more painful and unforgivable truth - which is that she very willingly helped her ex-lover murder their father/her former husband.

So yeah, Hazel and Colin got what they deserved. The only ones I feel sorry for are the children, relatives of the victims and the victims themselves.

if Hazel hadn't been so arrogant and blown him off after their crime..they quite possibly could have gotten away with the perfect crime.

what Jordie?

reply

No, I don't feel sorry for her at all. She was just as guilty as Colin of the crimes.
