S2 - Too much weird for the sake of being weird

Can we get back to real world scenarios, please, and move forward in some meaningful way? Enough metaphors, dreams, dreams within dreams, Labrynths, puzzles, etc. I’m falling asleep at almost every episode of S2, and my wife (who loved S1) doesn’t even watch it with me any more.

Yes. This show has style and visual flare for days...and almost no plot progression. Its so difficult to sit through. Its like watching a Terrence Malick film. The most recent episode 6 was completely pointless. You could ignore the episode completely and still be where you left off from episode 5.

this. they need to pick up the pace a bit.

A bit? A BIT!!?? Hahahahaha.

Jaysus H. Christ! And I thought the 4th episode was pointless and slow, goddamnit, at this point they are just fucking with us a.k.a the audience...

Don't think there is much plot to be Legion since most of his crap happens in his mind while the real world passes by. It's a wonder how he can function in the real world if not be able to call his shared personality powers on a whim.

It's some of the laziest writing. The plot has progressed absolutely nowhere. The sad part is the fact these writers believe they're creating something deep and groundbreaking when in fact it's just a complete mess. Talk about delusional. It's not even the least bit entertaining. It's just a bunch of convoluted foolishness. It's become a chore waiting for something significant, relevant, or even interesting to occur.

I will say the last episode with the alternate timelines I kind of liked. I loved the billionaire version of him and would like to see more of that for some reason. And I loved the
cop getting crumpled into a ball
. It was a pretty slick way to show the timeline we are watching and how he ends up in the asylum. But I still say on with it already. Let's get this show on the road.

I love how it looks and the ideas that are being thrown out but, I agree, it needs to have some actual plot development. I must add though, the scenes with Farouk and Oliver driving are beautiful to look at.

has your wife given you any presents recently, like a stronger deodorant, cologne, or pressured you into taking 2 showers a day?

Its become awful. The writers are probabily so pleased with themselves over this second season turd. Its becoming a version of mr.Robot 2.0. Like you said, the weirdness is an end in itself and its no fun watching anymore. They just keep going in a circle.

Someone with some intellect and who isnt doing LSD 24/7(as being the only one who gets whats going on) needs to put their foot down and create some frame for the story, some basic plot point and f*cking progress the damn story already.
