OH MY GOD!!

The overuse of this phrase by stupid young millennials is mind boggling.

Especially since millennials nowadays are being programmed to not believe in God.

Except when they are trapped in hell and being terrorized by its denizens.

OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD!! OH MY GOD!!!

There's soap scum on this test glass for a Dove commercial.

I can't wait for this generation to die out...and I outlive em all.

OH MY GOD!! You are so right! Yeah, i get sick of it too. That, and using the word retarded constantly. So disrespectful.

reply

A word is a word. We use them for a reason. Whether you call someone stupid or a retard, does it really matter? The context is the same. Whether or not that is disrespectful is irrelevant. It may in fact be an insult that is deserved.

Someone suggested that instead of God's name we use our own. For example: Oh my John. Oh John no. Jooooooooooooohn!

Both are stupid.

Programmed to not believe in God?

Sorry, buddy, but programming is what religion did for 4,000 years of Judaic history and 2,000 years of Christian history.

People are just finally realizing it's *beep* and instead of blindly following what their parents taught them are now actually asking questions and doing the research to come to a justified conclusion.

6000 years of humanity and we ARE programmed to believe in a deity. Whether it was the sun, the moon, Norse gods, we worship something of one form or another.

Even atheist, agnostics are programmed to worship either themselves or idols such as musicians or politicians. It is our basic nature to worship the Creator. He who made this delicate balance on a planet that provided trees to bear fruit, air to breath, water to drink and animals to provide food to man.

People are being taught to go against their basic programming of worshipping their One True God and believe in themselves and their own knowledge acquired in the short amount of time spent on this planet. And yet they use OMG to express disbelief, despair and even ecstasy.

As an atheist, I don't worship anyone or anything. In my opinion, nothing is deserving of worship, not a politician, not any person or thing.

I'm not programmed in any way to worship anything. If you believe you are that is fine, but you do not speak for other people.

OMG is an expression. It's widely understood. There's no meaning beyond that anymore than there would be for "Fu*k!"

What you should have written was, people are not being programmed to believe in god.

It's an important difference.
