Disjointed Mess, but the kids seem to like it

This movie barely comes together as a cohesive story jumping from one B plot line to another, and by the end I wasn't even sure what the main story was. Needed a lot more work in the writing, but the kids still seemed to enjoy themselves.

No doubt Universal/Illumination makes crap...but it's very lucrative, profitable crap.

For sure. And it looks great, really well produced with high profile casting. But man, this script was horrendous. It was like they had 6 different ideas for a sequel and they decided to merge them all into one story.

I agree. Some of the plotlines were so unnecessary, like the one about rescuing the white tiger. It was tonally different from the other main storylines too. The best parts were the slice of life moments at the farm and Rooster mentoring Max, I wish we got to see more of that and less of that bunny pretending to be a superhero.
