Michelle Pfeiffer

I, for one, am so excited for another Pfeiffer movie. Yes, she takes long breaks between projects but when she comes out of "hiding",she has great roles. She certainly has been able to balance her career and personal life with class. Love her!!

Oh yeah, so excited for her! She should really be in more movies now that her kids are in college.

I agree I think with her last 3 projects she's choosing by director. She also said in an interview that she enjoys making films from different genres. So excited with seeing her act alongside thus very cool cast.

If an actor has the option, it's almost always best to choose based on the director. Film is such a director's medium. Aronofsky is one of the best working in my opinion. Of course 99.99% of them don't really have a choice though with the people they work with. Most have to take the work they can get. This should definitely be one of her best films in a long time. And Darren's so good with actors.
I love the whole cast! I have a hard time imaging that this won't be my favorite cast of 2017.

I know that we haven't seen the performance yet, but with 3 nominations under her belt, Michelle Pfeiffer is due for an Oscar, and Aronofsky has somewhat of a Midas touch when it comes to directing award-winning performances in his films. If this isn't the film that wins her an Oscar, I think it's very possible that she could at least get nominated again (which would be her first since 1992's Love Field).

I agree! I'm sensing a Best Supporting Actress nod, if not win, based solely on the caliber of the cast and the director. Assuming Jennifer is the lead role, of course. Michelle is definitely due an Oscar.
