Rumored title/genre

According to a post on the Michelle Pfeiffer board, the film is supposedly titled Day 6 n is going to be a thriller...taking this with a grain of salt until some more official word comes along

reply

I read on twitter that it could actually be the working title.

reply

That sounds more plausible...not a title to get too crazy bout to be honest lol

reply

It's being filmed in my city and it is listed under "Day 6", but that could just be the code name.

reply

So hard to track.

There's a Korean boy band with that name and when you try to find something about the film all you find is ten thousand million pics of those guys :/

reply

This is from an Spanish movie site, it claims the Movie will be called "Mother" and it will be released December, 29, 2017 http://www.fotogramas.es/Noticias-cine/Mother-El-film-de-Darren-Aronofsky-con-Javier-Bardem-y-Jennifer-Lawrence-ya-tiene-titulo

taking that with a grain of salt.

They also say that filming begins next spring, so...

reply

They will be finished with principle shooting in a month or so. Unless there are a ton of special effects in post, I can't see any reason why it would take until December 2017 before it could be released.

reply

Maybe they're positioning it as awards bait...

reply

I, too, think that it will be an awards contender.

reply

Then they should release it in October or November, even early December would be better than end of December where it might be released too late for Academy members to take notice.

reply

Who knows if that is the real release date. The filming schedule and title were not right.

reply

This film is now marked as in post production.

Be sure to proof your posts to see if you any words out

reply

Yes, I noticed that.

reply

I was intrigued when I found a tweet from an extra stating that they were shooting in an apocalyptic house that was upside down, the set was real dirty and that they needed standby nurses. There were 150 extras and some were instructed to say "help me". I hope it's a psychological thriller. Aronofsky is great with that.

Whatever it is it's going to be fantastic.

reply

Johann Johansson is the composer, and on his Wikipedia and other sites the movie is listed as "Mother".
