Started out great....then the dragon showed up

I didn't dislike the dragon as much as you did, but it was ironically enough, the worst thing about the film. When the sassy dragon appears, it's such a jarring shift in tone. Before that, it's this epic, world-building film, but then it becomes a sort of clown show with Female Mushu. But I still liked it a lot, it did get back on track.

I liked the dragon. I didn't find her annoying at all.

I found the dragon mildly annoying, not enough to ruin the film, just enough to keep it from being really great. But definitely not Jar-Jar bad.

Not a big Awkwafina fan? She has a really big personality, so I wouldn’t be too surprised if many either love her or hate her.

Personally, I’ve loved her in most of her roles, but I could understand if some might find her a bit over the top.
