Was this a PSA for teens to let them know that they CAN get pregnant on their first time? She should have done jumping jacks after or something.
shareI've always been bothered by how many movies depict a woman having pregnant the first time they have sex -- what classic-era producer David O. Selznick called "these infallible pregnancies at single contacts." If a being from outer space tried to figure out how human reproduction worked from watching our movies about it, that being would probably assume the human female ALWAYS gets pregnant the first time she has intercourse with a human male. That CAN happen, but it's not how human reproduction generally works!
