Okay I loved it, it was a fantastical, weird, touching, strangely beautiful, odd, engrossing film... but it's VERY adult in theme and tone even though most of the leading characters are children.

shareEven though the themes are adult, there is nothing bad for children in this. A few dogs speak about breeding but it is relatively clinical or respectful. The only part that I would say might freak a kid out would be the kidney transplant but I would have loved that part especially as a kid.
