Really good in spite of production values!

I've now seen this movie twice, and I liked it even more the second time. I'm sorry to see it was farmed out to Hallmark's Movies & Mysteries Channel when it's much better than a lot of what they're showing on the home channel.

That said, one thing I couldn't help but notice was the fake snow throughout the movie. It looks good when it's in the air, but on the ground or anywhere on the set, it looks too much like foam, fabric, or cotton. I realize Hallmark movies are low budget and they film the Christmas movies long before December, but this was a little too distracting. There are enough indoor scenes, however, that it doesn't ruin the movie.

And I maintain my position that Jennifer Finnigan is a dead ringer for Gwyneth Paltrow!
