History said today at TCA that its 22-episode, half-hour series Join Or Die With Craig Ferguson will premiere at 11 PM Thursday, February 18. The show will feature Ferguson’s unorthodox takes on provocative and timely topics — ranging from history’s biggest frenemies and douchebag to the most doomed presidential campaign to the most influential band and drug. Guests will include Judd Apatow, Jimmy Kimmel, Jack Black, Julie Bowen, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Jay Leno, Joel McHale, Jason Biggs and Elijah Wood...

He absolutely cracks me up. I am so happy he is a selection for me to watch! Brightens my mood, which is what comedy is all about.

I was looking forward to this show as a fan of history, comedy, and Ferguson.

I'm still going to give it a chance, but I'm only 3 minutes into the pilot and I'm already frustrated enough to get on here and bitch about something.

I may be incorrect, but my auditory senses are telling me that I am listening to one of the most ANNOYING laugh tracks I've ever heard. Ferguson is reacting to a "crowd" with his gestures, but it sure as hell sounds like some overzealous sound editor run amok.

Even more annoying than the Jon Oliver laugh track, which I actually read somewhere is a laugh track enhancing an actual live audience.

Either way, I don't need to be prompted as to what is funny and how to react.

STOP IT!!!!

They do have a live audience. Perhaps they just need to tweak where the microphones are.
