Why is Kelly Osbourne hosting ???

Ugh, way to ruin a show, PRJ !!

reply

Well she's judging not hosting the show. Similar to her job at "Fashion Police", but her critiques might actually help these young designers. She also has her own clothing line, has a history with PR and appears to know what she is talking about. She speaks their language, as she once was an awkward/bullied teenager, so her delivery is relatable/sensitive and encouraging.

She was also the host of Project Catwalk, the UK series that Project Runway is based on. ;)

Not really a fan of Kelly, but I may rethink that. She has been an excellent judge thus far- supportive of the kids and her critiques are helpful. not the rude sarcasm I had expected.

And every cat in the twilight’s gray,

I'd never heard of Project Catwalk, but after googling, I found that Project Runway came before Project Catwalk, not the other way around.

I cannot with that racist

I have no idea why she is there, with her ugly clothes, like that horrible flowered skirt and the ugliest hair out there.

reply

That may or may not be, but she communicates very well with the young designers, and has been encouraging more than once to someone who got a negative critique. To me, those are points in her favor, and, to me, they count more than her appearance does.

reply

I agree with you,she is kind to the designer's.It just baffles me why so many designers have such ugly taste for themselves, while trying to make others look beautiful.

reply

Probably for similar reasons that writers and actors are often inarticulate when talking, or that there are people who think they're ugly even though their features are beautiful: maybe there's a kind of emotional/essential division in their minds between themselves and what they're doing for others or for the art.
