After seeing the post credit scene in Ant-man i was thinking what if the movie came before infinity wars. What audience would have thought about the scene. Will it be spoiling the infinity wars or audience would have gone WTF is going on.
shareI don't think it would have had the same impact. People would be wondering why it wasn't leading to Infinity War and likely assume the ash-thing was a set-up for the next Ant Man movie.

shareIf they had kept the post-credits scene the way it is, then everyone would have for sure been left completely confused. Theories would start rolling in and you can bet some people would correctly guess that this would happened in Infinity War. So with that in mind, Infinity War’s unexpected ending just wouldn’t have been anywhere near as impactful. A lot of fans’ reactions would be more like.... “ah, so that explains what happened in Ant-Man & The Wasp.”
I mean, people would probably still be shocked by seeing all these heroes fade to dust, although it still wouldn’t be the same. Anyhow releasing a more light-hearted and humorous movie like AM&TW after Infinity War felt appropriate (even if its post-credits was the exact opposite).
May be they will have to show Antman getting stuck in quantum but not show what happened to others outside. When they were showing the Universe fading scene in Infinity War they could also include the Hank, Janet & Hope fading. Actually I had the same topic covered in Infinity wars too and this the one reply i got there

Now THAT is interesting! I still hold the opinion that Ant-Man & The Wasp was the perfect MCU film to come right after Infinity War, although the idea of them not revealing the reason for Scott being left in the Quantum Realm until Infinity War’s ending is awesome.
