why does flash move so slow in these movies lol

i'm guessing because it's hard to show someone that moves as fast as him? like when he is running towards superman, he is taking a long ass time lmao. he should be there in less than a second. superman had enough time to say I've got flash, the rest of you get raven. then he was able to blow super hard.

I was watching some DCAU Justice League the other day (the episode 'The Brave and the Bold', I think) where Flash chased after a van, and yeah they seriously powered him down. But then they did the same with superman in the DCAU.
