Mad Science Meme

This mediocre science fiction movie follows a common 1950s SF trope in which we are warned not to explore too much in science. The same happens in this movie, the two scientists discover information about the basic structure of the universe that they, for some reason not articulated, decide should not be known by mankind. They end up destroying their work and returning to normal, humdrum, everyday life divorced from research.
