The last three episodes, pt. 2 *spoilers*

In a wink and nod to the old Batman TV series, West turns directly to the audience a couple of times to narrate in the same deadpan style as that show - while the other characters wonder who he's talking to. Another source of comedy gold comes from tweets by President Lex Luthor which sound an awful lot like tweets from a certain current president we all know! - This would've originally been the last episode of the season/show

The last of the three was probably my least-favorite (but not by very much) and was originally supposed to be the sixth episode: A retiring co-worker is given a squid arm thanks to being zapped by a supervillian. Emily wants to do something for her, but Van, typically, doesn't particularly think about people other than himself. After all, at the woman's retirement party, Van presents her with a $25 gift certificate for her 40 years of service! Emily arranges a more-generous retirement party, then arranges charity for the squid arm incident (Van only agrees to this because he used the woman as a human shield, causing her zapping. It's essentially hush-money for Emily and the retiree to keep quiet about Van's cowardice). But when word of Van's "generosity" gets out, he starts getting lionized. Emily at first maintains the attitude that it doesn't matter that she doesn't get credit but that good itself was done. But, as Van gets more-and-more recognition, her anger comes to the forefront. It all comes to a head at a banquet held in Van's honor...
