What was the original concept for her job's organization?

I know I hear everyone saying, "This differs in that she now works for Bruce Wayne's company."

Ummm, so who and what did she originally work for in that Comic-Con pilot you are talking about?

It was a property insurance company that covered damages caused by fights between superheroes and supervillains. Alan Tudyk's character was the son of the company's owner (not a member of the Wayne family), and he had a mandate to reduce claim payouts, putting him at odds with the Vanessa Hudgens character.

Thank you very much! Discussing IRL about a fictional show is a sign of madness but...

Judging by how my Homeowner's Insurance kept finding excuses to NOT cover things (as pre-existing conditions) (above ground hot tub not covered but sunken hot tub covered) until I finally dropped them as useless, I'd imagine covering SuperHero/Villain collateral damage insurance would be worse than getting covered for flood plain damage by the Mississippi. All acts of God (Super Gods) not covered. And the premiums? Superman needs to build a world wide shield with a targeting system for any hostiles. If I ramble any further, I'll sound like a trekker who argues minutiae about warp drives.
