Does anybody else get a Better Off Ted vibe from this

of course. Many of the people that worked in better off ted (producers and writers) are working in this show. It makes perfect sense haha.

Oh man, from start to finished. Loved it! Really miss Better Off Ted, so I am glad this is in the same tone and style.

That's the only reason why I am giving it more of a chance. Better off Ted was one of my favorite shows, so I am giving this one the benefit of the doubt that the first couple episodes will simply be giving us the chance to get to know everything about this world and the characters. I always love a good workplace comedy, especially one that isn't bound by our laws of nature.

The casting isn't nearly as good, though.

I like Ron and Danny, but Vanessa is not a good actress, not a lead, and a horrible choice. Christina Kirk is no Portia, and Alan Tudyk is not quirky enough for his role.

Really good premise and it might get better over time, but the casting choices will probably doom this show. Too bad.
